Nice shoe, but pay attention to the 55% of folks that are reporting it runs small for the size ordered. I wear a 9 in every other trail shoe I own. Wish I'd ordered this in a 9.5. It's going to be OK as a city shoe, but it's way too tight in the toe box for bombing downhills on trail.I need a narrow shoe with high arch support for my feet, and I've been wearing La Sportiva's for a few years now. This is the first one where the toe box felt small to me. If I order it again, I will go one size larger (46 instead of 45.5). My other La Sprotiva's have been 45.5, so I was a little surprised.The arch support is ok, but since I have very tall arches, it is difficult to find a well fitting shoe. I wear them throughout a full work day, but will take them off as soon as I get home.I like the shoes but even though I have a narrow width (B), I found the shoes to narrow especially in the toes. going downhill was to uncomfortable so have returned them with no hassle which was very appreciated. This is my second pair of La Sportiva shoes which are great hence the reason for buying the GTX for winter runs. I will find another model shoe and try it.Fantastic shoes and they live up to my high expectations and the punishment I mete out to them nearly every weekend. If you are trail runner and desire both grip, cushioning but also sensitivity/feel for the surfaces you are running on, this shoe is well worth the price. I was flexible on the color so managed to get a pair well under the price usually paid for these shoes. I am very satisfied!The shoes are awesome, however it is very dificult to buy this brand by internet... the size is completely crazy.. I usually wear 7.5 (usa) or 40 EU. The first time, I bought 8 or 40,5 and they were too small like they were 6.5 or 7 maximun (crazy). So I bought others but one number bigger, I mean (8.5 or 41.5) and they are like they would be 40.5 (somewhat large) :/I dont know why, but the three times I bought La Sportiva, I had issues with the size...Sugestion: Make a little chart with equivalent sizes...goodHad to buy a full size bigger to get a proper fit.One full size smaller than typical, but like productOttima scarpa, tenuta incredibile, attanaglia il piede da farla sembrare stretta, ma è solo una senzazione, a patto di prendere un numero in piú, la ritengo una opzione tassativa e addirittura chi vuole calzare con solette puó azzardare 1 numero e mezzo in piú; assolutamente non prendere la misura che si indossa per le scarpe di tutti i giorni;Io con una misura in piú ho quasi rischiato, ma c' è spazio tra l' alluce e la punta e con l' uso prendono forma;Una volta calzate nessuno puó fermare queste scarpe.Versuche seit über eine Woche die Schuhe zurück zusenden, ohne Erfolg. L’ho acquistata per fare il cammino di Santiago.Dopo varie prove della scarpa, ho notato che si adatta subito, è una scarpa comoda, calza un numero in più.
