My husband is diabetic and sometimes his feet swell and cannot wear tight heavy socks. I bought a couple of these pairs LARGE at a store and even if they were a bit too roomy I ordered 10 pairs of LARGE again from Amazon. They were even larger. I think depending on the batch there are some variations in size. They do not shrink when you wash them. I ended up returning them and I am going to order MEDIUM size and see how they fit. Overall they are very light and comfortable and suit our purpose and recommend them to those who suffer the same problems.
