Just hiked in the Great Smokey Mountains National Park with these boots and can confirm they are the most comfortable hiking boots I've ever worn. They broke in easily, Great arch support, truly water proof, very comfortable and supportive.I normally wear a size US 13 shoe. In EU that's usually a 46. Sometimes, depending on brand, I am a 12.5 shoe.For this particular boot, I started with 12.5. That was way too small. Then I did 13 wide, and that was too small. Then I did 13.5 and STILL too small. I feel bad after three returns so I'm not even going to try a 14. Just know that these run VERY small.They are comfortable and light, but I never got to test out their warmth or water resistance. Lower rating for terrible sizing.Bought these for photography on and off the trails. Carrying camera gear, you need good boots and not more weight. These are perfect! Light weight, very comfortable and waterproof. Nothing negative about these boots. I went 1/2 size up and that was exactly right for size. The light weight and full ankle support is wonderful!Really comfortable and durable. Second pair purchased. I bought the 12.5 W. I usually wear sz 13. Laced with Lock laces. Needed comfortable black shoes for walking 12k steps a day and these are it! Waterproof with gortex lining, you can step in snow and puddles with ease.Bought these as an early season hunting boot for the CO mountains. 55 miles in 5 days on Rocky Mountain terrain. Boots held up very well and I did not have any hot spots or soreness. Almost no break in period. Stepped through marshes and my feet stayed dry as well so the waterproofing liner held up well (gore-tex is the best). Feet were warm at dawn break and sundown with lightweight wool socks so I’d say these boots are good for temperatures as low as 25 if you’re moving and 35 if you’re sitting. 12.5E was perfect and I am not normally a wide shoe so beware if you have wide feet. I am a 12 in nikes. 12.5 in under armour. 11D in my double H western boots.My foots a little wider than most. I’m going to use these on the Camino. Lite and well constructed.The initial size 12.5 wide was too tight; however, the next size 20 Wide was perfect and fitted my feet. They feel greatLove this boot!
