Love the style and the overall comfort. Insoles are removable and have a decent arch support. Soles are grippy, and the overall shoes are lightweight and well padded.Knocked off 1 star because the drawstring laces have to be re-tightened every so often (not a dealbreaker, maybe once or twice per hike). Materials are not extremely durable, which is perfect for hiking in the woods, but may get worn down quicker on rocky terrainThese shoes exceeded my expectations. They have excellent support and grip. Additionally, they are very comfortable, and their laces are very practical. As for water resistance, I used them on a very muddy trail, and, although my feet felt a bit humid at the end of the trail, I was very happy with the result, considering they are not 100% waterproof. As for the size, according to the size chart, I should be a size 8.5; however, I ordered a 9 because I like roomier shoes, and they fit me perfectly. I recommend them 100%!We hike trails every day since we live close by a state park. We are doing 5 miles a day. Weekends we do Mountain hiking and these by far, my feet are doing amazing after 2 time, super cushioned, grip is great in the sand and rocks, great ankle support. I had 5 month old trail runners and my foot would slip and hit the toe box, these my foot does not slip. I’m a size 10 in woman’s and in Mens a 8.5. They are perfect!!! I’ve done about 30/35 miles a week in them for the past few weeks and they are holding up great!!!I love this Solomon shoe, it's the best walking shoe I've found yet.
