My 6lb, 5 month old Chihuahua, Khloe is growing fast! She quickly grew out of her size XXS harness from Doggie Design and I just ordered her size XS as she should not get much bigger (pictured). The harness is a great value and very secure with the velcro in back and an extra clip that fastens with double hooks for the leash. The design will not allow her to choke and the material is soft and breathable. On a hot day in Florida, I will soak the harness in water, ring it out and place in the freezer for a few minutes so that it keeps her cool for a short walk. The harness comes in all colors but of course pink is Khloe's favorite! I also bought a pink camouflage from a private local retailer as they are sold outon-line everywhere. There are a lot of pups out there with great taste! NOTE - We have tried "similar" brands which pale in comparison and I have returned them for quality and fit.The harness is really nice but my dog is 5 pounds and xs size is still a little big on her. It doesn’t fit as snuggly as it should.Love this harness fits her well and she’s comfortable in it !I like the concept but the front of the harness keeps getting in our puppies mouth and she can't get it out and it really upsets us both...the front needs to be cut down some or something...not sure I would buy another one.This is a well made and super cute harness. It fit my small chihuahua perfectly but I returned it because the color was not what I expected it to be. The color in the photo appears to be a salmon/coral color which I love, l but when it came it was light pink and I am not a fan of light pink. That is the only reason I returned it. Otherwise, I would have kept it.This is the only harness that my Chihuahua cannot back out of. My Tinker is a rescue Chihuahua mix and a real escape artist, by pulling backwards on the harness to get out. Her neck is 7" and her ribs (chest) is 17" I bought an X-small, it's a little tight around her chest, but she cannot get loose. It really is choke free, don't want to injure her trachea..Nice fit and working great for our dog. Seems well made and should last.This harness goes on easily and is very secure. We have a Maltese and a small Shitzu. They both wear an extra small. The colors are vibrant and the fabric is durable You will not regret ordering this productThis is a great little harness. I was having trouble finding this type of harness for my dog who is really tiny. The only ones I could find had the velcro around the neck and were uncomfortable for her. I have purchased at least 6 between xxs, xs, sm and none fit right. This harness fits her perfectly and is comfortable for her.
