I am 6'2" 250lbs the XXL fits very well. sleeves are perfect in length. collar is cushy and warmVery good qualityThis is a very well made, ideally designed and perfectly sized winter jacket. Unlike all other poufy coats I’ve seen, the finish isn’t shiny and slick but a very short napped velvet. It feels somewhere between moleskin and microfiber. While this works well, I’m unsure how well it’ll work in the long run and over many wash/dry cycles. Since I have no reason to think its durability will be an issue, I won’t downgrade it for this feature but will return later to this review if the finish fails to last a reasonable time. It is machine washable and dryable.It has three deep pockets including the most welcomed left inside one. All are secured by zippers. The assembly is flawless. I looked as closely as I was able to. The zippers are likewise sturdy so I expect them to last for many years.The sizing is on the large side but not overly so. It’s just right if you wish to add layers underneath but not so large as to lose an insulation effect. In use, I’ve worn this in sedentary pursuits in temperatures just a bit below freezing and in power walks in temperatures varying from 40 F to the mid-40s F. It kept me warm while motionless but did not overheat me when I was pushing it hard in warmer temperatures. In all cases, I was wearing a simple cotton t-shirt underneath.Just for calibration, I’m a cold-sensitive/warm tolerant human so I welcome a jacket in moderate cold that many would use for much more severe cold. My take is that this jacket will work in any cold temperatures I’m likely to encounter (high teens F) but if it doesn’t, I’m sure adding another layer or a thicker one will do the trick.In sum, this jacket looks good, feels good and works ideally. It’s a significant and welcomed addition to my wardrobe. My take is you can’t go wrong with it.I'm always cold, and my typical go-to coat in the winter is North Face's Nuptse jacket. It's warm, it's light, and it's easy to care for. This DKNY jacket has a very similar build to the Nuptse, fitting in the same manner and providing similar warmth. Rather than having down, the DKNY has all polyester filling, and rather than a nylon exterior, the DKNY has a largely acrylic exterior best described as velour.That exterior is where this coat becomes interesting - because the fabric is straight out of 1975. It's something you might expect to see on a cast member of Love Boat if they cruised up toward Alaska. And I'm not sure if it would be a male or female cast member wearing the coat. I think a velour puffer coat is probably a first, though, as I don't recall those being available even in the mid-70s.The coat has a well designed plastic front zipper that doesn't catch on anything in its travels, two zipped external pockets, and one deep internal zipped pocket (on the jacket's left side). There's an inflexible metal DKNY logo on the left shoulder that you don't notice while wearing the jacket and that isn't annoyingly large. With a temperature in the 20s today, I found the coat to be comfortable and warm. There's no hood, but there is a soft ribbed collar.Your decision here will revolve around whether you think 70s track suit fashion has a place in today's world. If so, this is a nicely made winter coat that will keep you warm and content in below freezing temperatures.I am a woman and ordered this coat for myself. I wear a women's XL and ordered a men's L. I am in looooooove. Yes, it is puffy but come on . . . it's a puffer coat. It is also velvety smooth and super warm. I am 5' 11" inches and I have a hard time finding coats and shirts that are long enough in the sleeves. This coat is absolutely perfect in sleeve length. It is also broad enough across the shoulders to fit and be comfortable over larger winter clothes. There are two exterior pockets at the right height and comfort level. The inside of the collar is corduroy type material, and the lining is smooth like satin. The pockets and coat have a large plastic zipper. There is also a smaller zipped chest pocket on the inside left. All zippers work smoothly and without catching. I was unable to find any manufacturing flaws.Maybe in a different area of the country this would be worn by men . . . here in the midwest the men just looked at me like I was crazy when I said it was a men's coat . . . then they laughed because they decided I was kidding.I don't care, I love my coat. I expect to get a lot of wear out of it!This coat was made in China. 100% polyester. Care instructions are machine wash cold like colors, delicate cycle, tumble dry low.I really like this coat, specifically because of the velvet look. It is a deep and rich black color. The velvet is soft as well. The coat is extremely thick and would work well in the winter and cold weather. The pockets are a good size for phone or wallet... they are average sized pockets. The zipper is kind of big though, it's bigger than your usualy zipper and I'm not sure why. I'm not sure if it's noticeable to others though. The one thing I don't like about the jacket is the elastic band on the bottom. Rather than the coat "free falling" at the bottom or being loose, there's an elastic band that hugs you. So when you wear it, if you put the coat at your waist, it puffs up and doesn't look or feel good. It doesn't have a hood but the collar zips all the way up. I think the coat would hae been really nice without it, but overall it's a nice coat.I got this coat for my husband and we had both had mixed feelings about it. I want to start with what we loved. This is thick and warm and would work well for being outside in cold temperatures. The inside loft is really nice and comfortable We received a medium and it fits like we expected. My husband is on the small side of medium and think he could have easily got by with a small as this is a bit bulky.As for what we don't love. The puffy parts look odd across the back and we aren't wild about the velvety outside. I wouldn't want to wear this in the rain as the outside doesn't seem like it would repel water very well. Overall, it's a nice coat if the velvety look is what you're after.Oberfläche ist samtig und sieht und fühlt sich hochwertig an. Absolute Kaufempfehlung.
