The case has now been adjusted to allow for a tempered glass protection shield without compromising fit, or causing bubbling or movement of tempered shield. They are shock resistant and beveled at the top edges so that if you drop your phone and it lands screen side down to the sidewalk or floor there is still a gap and your screen doesn't make contact with the floor. I love the rubber stop port cover that helps give some added water resistance at the port area, as lo g as you close it.... I've been using these cases for many years now and they really take a good thumping without scratches and scuffs remaining on the cases either. Even my Samsung phone that had that beautiful wrap around screen edges that I was sure I would break in no time, survived without a scratch because of these cases. I have never broken or cracked a phone in one of these, don't get me wrong I know it's possible.... a sharp corner to a screen is going to crack a screen, case or not, but my point is when my phone has dropped and the contact point hits this case I have NEVER had phone damage. I have dropped it off ladders, down stairs, and accidentally kicked it 10 or so feet across sidewalks and asphalt upon dropping it while walking lol! My 9 and 11yr olds aren't allowed to have their phones out of their cases for this reason and we haven't lost one yet from damage. It has even survived my husband. I even like the new little camera protection slide that has been added. It secures snugly and stays put, as long as you have shut it completely, and it opens easily again without needing to pry or force open the slide with any undue amount of pressure.
