the gun rest didn't stay tight so I took it off and used shooting bags.Makes a difference sighting in my rifes.Still used sand bag in the rear, sturdy doesn't move.This is a very nice shooting bench. Seems real sturdy. It didn't come with direction so I have to find them on line.The convenience of being able to fold up and take where you need it and it's lightweight.Product is very steady. Only thing it lacks is an adjustable seat.Husband likes this because it's easy to move aroundJust great
