adidas Ultra Boost Men's Running Shoes - Lightweight, Comfortable & Responsive for Street Running, Jogging, Workouts & Gym Training

I have been using Boost shoes for long distance running for years. I've had the originals, a trail version, a boost 2, and most recently an ultra boost pair. Compared with the old shoes, these are very stiff. There is a frame built into them (They are Stability Control shoes, and thus much more rigid). Other Boost shoes had stretchy material with rubbery sides for stability. These are not stretchy, and the sides have been reinforced with heavy rubber. Breath-ability feels significantly reduced. They fit as expected, where as older versions fit a bit tight/small. It may be worth hitting a local running store and trying on some normal ultra boosts to compare the feeling with these ST's.I love the look of these but they feel NOTHING like the original Ultraboosts. The stability layer is in fact more stable but somehow eliminates the feeling of all that boost underneath it causing these to feel more like you're walking in say a pair of Tubular's than Ultraboosts or Pureboosts.These shoes are perfect to use in combination with my standing desk for 16+ hour sessions. The mesh material is the most breathable I've worn which means my foot doesn't sweat and stink nearly as much as a conventional running shoe. In fact, it doesn't sweat at all while I stand and work. The arch support is the best I've experienced so far.This shoe doesn't fit at all like its predecessor. It is longer and wider. Just bigger. Also there is much less tred on the sole. It is wearing out very quickly. For a $180 shoe, it should be much better.My boyfriend loves his new shoes! But the left shoe fits a little smaller than the right.I've used the previous Ultra Boosts and thought they were great. These are garbage. 50 miles in and the tread is almost entirely warn down. The 'new rubber' is a marketing gimmick - the wear and tear on these is the worst I've ever seen in a shoe. Likewise, there seems to be great variation in how they are made. I had the same model before but these immediately gave me blisters in locations where I don't normally get blisters and the right shoe seems to have significant variation in the foam compared to the left. I wish it wasn't too late to send these back. Will likely switch to Nike as a result.really really love these over the other more popular ultra boosts. the ST version is my favorite. especially when customized like i did to mine i get stares and looks all the time. people have approached me to ask what are thooooose!?Buy 1/2 size up. Great shoe for my runs - excellent support and cushion. Yet rather light on my feet. Feel like I could run as long as I need to in them.Ich hatte erst den normalen Ultra Boost - aber weil ich schon immer ein wenig Probleme mit einem Knöchel habe, war mit der zu wenig stabil. Bin jetzt zum Ultra Boost ST gewechselt, und ziemlich begeistert. Das Laufgefühl ist ähnlich fantastisch gefedert wie beim Ultra Boost, aber halt tatsächlich stabiler.Nicht ganz so super finde ich, dass die Lasche beim ST und der restliche Oberbau nicht ganz so hochwertig wirken wie beim normalen Ultra Boost. Es ist halt etwas fummeliger, den Schuh zu schließen; die Lasche fühlt sich meiner Meinung nach sogar fast etwas billig an. Außerdem sieht der Schuh nicht so super aus, sondern ziemlich schlicht. An der Funktion ändert das natürlich nichts, und da ist der ST wirklich ganz große Klasse. Jederzeit wieder!Ich habe mit diese Laufschuhe zugelegt, weil ich aktuell unter einem sehr schmerzhaften Fersensporn leide.Der Schuh hat eine angenehm gefederte Sohle und ermöglicht zumindest für eine Zeit lang ein gehen ohne allzu große Schmerzen.Habe mir die Schuhe als Freizeit Schuhe zugelegt sie sind extrem gut gepolstert sehen stylisch aus und passen perfekt kann ich nur Empfehlen!!!Das ist schon das zweite Paar dieses Models, jetzt in anderer Farbe. Eigenschaften und Haltbarkeit sehr gutsehr gut. Kann den Schuh nur empfehlenReturned to Adidas running shoes after trying another brand. Very comfortable and supportive (and I need support shoes). My only criticism is that they are too expensive for what they are.
